  Great dining experience in Grand Lake. We stayed over the weekend at the hotel where this restaurant is at the basement so we took a shot with reading some Yelp reviews before going in.
  
  Overall we had a great time. Service was excellent and everyone was very nice and service minded. Nothing to complain. Food was delicious but the pork was a bit too sweet. The mussels Linguine was delicious. The shrimp appetizer on the bread was fantastic and fresh. Can tell that this is one of the popular dishes. Bacon wrapped with dates were yummy. We will come back again.
  
  Ambience was relaxing and very casual. Nice place to get together with friends and families.

  It took forever to get coffee and when we got it, it was lukewarm. When we told the waitress, she said she could microwave our cups for us.  I think they microwaved the cinnamon roll I ordered, as well, because it had hard spots and Uneven warmth. Very disappointing.

  Restaurant was busy and looked like only one waiter maybe 2 at times. Son wanted lamb but they said they just ran out. We all got soup which was great and rolls were good. Son got the shrimps day noodles which were good he said but was very small shrimp and not many probably 4 or 5. I got the Noodles with bacon called Carbinuea (missed spelled I'm sure) . Wife got the salmon which she said was good but was a thick cut and not cooked in the middle. Tea was okay but very weak. Wife ordered turtle cheesecake to go but looked more like caramel cheesecake. Took another 10 min and 2 people to get fork to eat it with.
    Overall service and quality was not equal to price . Waiter good but clearly over stretched. Meal was 100 dollars for three and no alcohol. Did not feel like a treat but were in a hurry so did not send anything back.

  This place was so cozy and intimate and very par to grand lake lake lodge. The chicken burrito was very filling. The toast was spilt moist and delicious. The chef came out to make sure that she has all that we wanted in our food but later when one of the orders was wrong she tried to shoo away as she was busy talking on the phone.
  The waitress was really nice and told us that she could take the food in the kitchen and ask the chef to redo it.
  There is plenty of parking space and this place moderately expensive.

  So we live in Grand County and how have we missed this place for breakfast? They have moved locations and are now in the lower level of the Gateway Inn. Nice atmosphere, and friendly service. You could tell they liked working there. Their breakfast potatoes were amazing. Homemade and flavored with herbs and butter. Most breakfast places have the frozen fried potatoes. Quality ingredients and amazing gravy. My husband had the country burrito and asked for ham and sausage inside. He said it's one of the best breakfast burritos he's ever had. We will be back. I had the Waconda special which had soft biscuits and those amazing potatoes and gravy. Even the cinnamon roll was good. I thought it looked dry, but had great flavor and lots of cinnamon and was carmelized inside.
